Mission Trails Regional Park, Engagement Photography in San Diego
For Clare and Connors engagement photos we went over to Mission Trails in San Diego and I’m so thrilled with how they came out! Mission Trails Regional Park is such a great place to take engagement photos! There are so many great trails and spots to take photos! Also, it’s one of the few places in San Diego that shows the seasons changing!
Clare and Connor were so much fun to take engagement photos for! You can tell that they have so much fun together. I loved seeing how they interacted in such a playful way, I felt like I hardly had to direct them! They also brought their dog Kona with them who was so stoked to be there!
If your ever thinking about taking engagement photos with you dog, here are a few tips to make sure it goes smoothly!
Bring treats! Nothing makes dogs behave more than treats!
When you arrive at the location, let your dog get acclimated to the surrounding so that they’re not distracted. Maybe even arrive a little early to do this so it doesn’t take up time during your shoot.
Bring a long leash that you can tie to something. Dogs are great, but your going to want some photos without your dog as well. So bring something you can tie them up with, or its always nice if a friend or family member can take them while were doing other photos.
Mission Trails is always a great place to do photos with dogs because there is a ton of room to roam around, plus so many epic places for photos!
